Today I went SMU for Matriculation again. This time round is basically to pay money and hand up whatever forms we need. We also attend a talk on volunteerism by this lady who hold quite a high position in UBS. Sort of inspire by her. Actually I being wanting to be involved in community service in my university life, so whatever she say is just an add on. After the talk, we walk around the sort of community service fair. Everywhere we go, there will be someone stopping us and telling us about their community service project. In other words, psycho us to join in their projects and clock out hours at the same time. Two of them I seems to be quite interested. However, one of them due to my Freshmen Team-building camp, I wun be able to take part. So no point. The other one is concerning teaching magic tricks... Haa... After clement introduce me about that penguin magic, recently magic tricks seems to be one of my interest. I will consider this carefully.

Next is orientation camps by schools and clubs. For the business camp, there are 2 runs. The first run is next week 10 - 12 july, the other is 3rd aug to 5th aug. So basically, me and kevin wun be able to go for the second run due to the ELW. This is the cock part.

SMU Student: "Come la, you three join together, I make sure i attach one girl to each of them."
We stunned....
After some conversation, I decided to go for Run 1, then Wayne still cannot make up his choice.
SMU Student: "You look at the people in Run 1, majority girls."
We: "That's not the main pt."
SMU Student: "It is the most important pt."

Seems that he keep insisting girls in the camp is very important. So while I am looking at the nominal roll, I couldn't help by noticing the size of the t-shirt that those girls indicate. Luckily, I never see any M or L. Anyway, end up 3 of us going for the camp which is next week. Somehow I am not mentally prepared yet.

Next, for the sports camp. This time round, this person trying to promote the camp by emphasizing the food, and the activities. Wayne would have join this camp if his leg is not injured. He end with this sentence: "Currently there are more girls than guys." Well.... Don't they understand this is not the pt, though I agree this is an important pt...

Now, I sort of feel a lot of uncertainties towards life in SMU... The stories from Irene had made me feel that life in SMU will not be as fun as what we have in poly. It is just a mugging school. Furthermore, with the JCs, especially the top JCs pple around, definitely there will be discrimination against the poly student. I am expecting this... Irene had told me that there is this guy from a top JC scolded her and make her cry. I dunnoe what will happen if he do the same thing to me.... Will i just suck my thumb? Will I blow my top? or will I shoot him back? I really dunnoe.
